Chris' Resplendent Images of the East

The Far East may well be Inscrutable to many, but Chris scrutes it far more well than any. He took this picture on Sadogashima, an island on the west coast of Japan.

This is a monument overlooking the city which is the destination of the train in the next picture. The mural depicts the defeat of the NAZI's, and the brown dias houses a now-extinguished "eternal flame".
