The
Internet provides a wealth of information to those prepared to use it.
But so many of the articles one finds assume so much basic cultural, political,
and even geometrical and existential knowledge, that make this information
quite inaccessable to the novice.
In an
effort to ameliorate this conundrum, I have attempted to provide a set
of basic documents encompassing the shared knowledge that should help newcomers
to the world of information acquire the common background which will start
them on their way to full info-confidence. `
